started this illustration as an assignment that I misunderstood during the first semester, which doesn’t mean is a failure. We were supposed to create a bird out of a vegetable or a fruit (real ones). Instead I drew birds with a cherry shape. Then in the second semester, I had the opportunity to design a poster for the Joseph Binder Award in the Drawing class, so I used the cherrybirds illustration to create it.
