Around five million employees in Germany are exposed to noise that is harmful to their health at their workplace. At the BG RCI "German Social Accident Insurance Institution", noise-induced hearing loss is the most frequently recognized occupational disease. For this purpose, students in the fields of graphic design, visual communication, and communication design were invited to artistically process their ideas and send in the designed poster. Because visually appealing posters can help to raise awareness of occupational safety issues and thus motivate people to behave responsibly and health-consciously in the workplace. the three posters were part of the nationwide poster competition of BG RCI. The three posters were short-listed and the first one won second place. The award ceremony took place on October 25, 2022, as part of the protect forum in Potsdam.
Imperfect is a poster about self-acceptance, which is represented in recognition of how imperfect our body/face proportions are. Being imperfect makes us unique and different. Thus, in this project, I am exaggerating different parts of the human body to point them out as something normal. with this project I would like to invite everyone to take a deeper look into one human that they consider as beautiful and see how imperfect he/she is to recognize that, imperfection is the secret of beauty.
These two posters of Duisburg Hbf and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church were part of Bézier curve study in software class.
