Wolfgang Weingart

It is a book about German graphic designer and typographer Wolfgang Weingart. This book is divided into six chapters that include Swiss typography, New Wave typography, Letters and typographic elements, Weingart’s approach in his teaching practice, Wolfgang Weingart’s life, and How can one make Swiss typography?. The concept of this book was to create an experimental layout design that follows the style of New wave typography movement by focusing more on playfulness and stretching the limits of legibility. A design that looks random but it follows different rules. All the referenced designer's work photos are located in a poster that’s folded on the cover of the book. Photos that exist inside the book are only for exercises he was using for his students.
