Beyond Humanity: Visions of Augmented Futures

The magazine (available digital-only) was designed under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Zielke in WiSe 22/23 22 as a part of the “The Human Body” editorial design project.
I intended to design a magazine that delves into the complex debate surrounding human enhancement, with a great deal of discussion being devoted to the arising ethical and moral implications. By providing a comprehensive analysis of the current state of human augmentation technology, it aims to inform policy decisions and foster public discussion on this multifaceted and important issue.
The magazine can be characterized by its strong reliance on underlying grid systems & asymmetric organization, deriving inspiration from the International Typographic Style, Brutalist design trends, Post-vandalism, and other contemporary design movements.
Type in Use: Untitled Antiqua by my brother, Trifon Andreev; Snaga Grotesk by Lettersoup Type Foundry & Trifon Andreev.

Name: Boris Andreev
Project Semester: 3rd
